Willkommen bei der HFF Summer School!

Die HFF Summer School wurde 2018 ins Leben gerufen, um die HFF München für internationale, externe Teilnehmer*innen zu öffnen, mit einem sehr hochwertigen Programm, voller Workshops von und mit (inter-)national renommierten Dozent*innen der Film- und Medienindustrie. Gleichzeitig soll die Summer School, die ausschließlich in englischer Sprache abgehalten wird, auch für HFF-Studierende ein Ort sein für zusätzliche internationale Lehre und Vernetzung – in die deutsche Filmbranche, aber auch darüber hinaus. Somit ist die Summer School fester Bestandteil der Internationalisierungsstrategie der HFF München.
Darüber hinaus versteht sich die HFF Summer School als Experimentierort für kreative neue Lehrinhalte aus allen Bereichen des Films, die in den eng geschnürten Curricula der HFF keinen Raum finden können, aber unbedingt und berechtigt ausprobiert werden sollten. Insofern bietet die HFF Summer School wichtige Impulse in die Lehre der HFF München und vice versa.

HFF Summer School – Die Ziele

Unser Ziel ist es, talentierte Filmemacher*innen aus der ganzen Welt miteinander und mit HFF-Studierenden zu vernetzen und die Möglichkeit zu geben, eigene Fähigkeiten zu erweitern und sich weiter zu bilden. Unsere renommierten Dozent*innen bringen jahrelange Erfahrungen mit und helfen dabei, Einblicke in verschiedene Bereiche der Film- und Medienbranche zu bekommen bzw. eigene Schwerpunkte zu setzen und Wissen zu vertiefen – je nach Kurs von der Stoffentwicklung bis zur visuellen Umsetzung. Seit unserer Gründung versuchen wir unser Programm stets zu erneuern, sodass wir auf immer neue Aspekte und Entwicklungen des Filmemachens eingehen können.
