Film & TV producer, director, creative expert. A leading authority on storytelling, dramaturgy, and visual media. Mission: Merging classical storytelling with AI—while keeping humans in the lead.

Taç Romey has lived in the USA, Turkey, the Netherlands, and Germany. He studied acting, directing, and dramaturgy at Brown University (USA). As a writer, director, script consultant, creative producer, and showrunner, he has developed numerous series and films.

He leads Phantomfilm GmbH (Munich & Amsterdam) and was the creative force behind Amazon’s award-winning series “Der Lack ist ab”. His projects have been nominated for and won International Emmy, Romy, Golden Magnolia, and the German Television Award, among others.

Prof. Romey holds the Chair of Serial Storytelling at HFF Munich, where he teaches storytelling, character development, and continuously develops new projects for German and international streaming & TV markets. Together with Markus Walsch he created the successful AI writing workshop I’m Your Staff Writer.
