Ronit Weiss

An acclaimed creator and writer of several award-winning TV drama series and documentaries, including “The Girl from Oslo” for Netflix, “Portrait” (an art history documentary series), and Israel’s most watched series “A Touch Away,” among others.
Besides developing her creative projects, Weiss-Berkowitz is also an active mentor in various programs, such as the international initiative Seriesmakers for feature film directors transitioning to scripted series; the Sam Spiegel-Netflix Series Lab; and the France-Israel residency for co-writing drama.
She shares her expertise by teaching advanced television writing classes at Tel Aviv University, the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television, and SDSU California. In addition, Weiss-Berkowitz is an experienced book editor, having worked closely with renowned Israeli authors.
She is currently involved in several upcoming projects as a creator and executive producer.
